How's your day?

Mine was fun....took my neice mac make up shopping, had her eye's done and bought her some makeup...got her some new pants for back to school and a nice plaid shirt for my nephew for him for back to school....then I took my neice and dd downtown for a photoshoot in the back ally''s we really had to watch out, cause the back ally's are kinda gross, needes, broken glass, etc...so some ally's we just didn't go into, but the photo shoot went well!

What's your neighbourhood like?

We live in a small town, we have all you need, variety store 3 blocks away, parks 2-3 blocks away, lots of kids to play with, and a safe place to live, I have no real issues with letting my kids play outside in our neighbourhood without major supervision! Of course they are not alone, but with friends!

Sorry, I'm late with the questions today. Haven't been feeling my best. I had a uterine biopsy yesterday, and I've been chilling...

I know I haven't been online here with you all long, but even after missing a week or so, I miss you guys!! :)

Not much time to comment on some of the posts, as I'm organizing the Hands ON! photography blog hop (see my other post for more details!), but I wanted to touch base, say hello and see if you had your baby yet, Jen!!!???

Once the kids are back in school, things should return to normal around here.... or at least as normal as we're going to get! :D

Do you live in an area that has seasons? Which season is your favorite?

Today is my mom's surgery. In fact, she's in surgery right now. I know she's in good hands and there's a very low chance sometime could go wrong, but I'm still worried. It is brain surgery after all! I know I'm going to be beside myself all day long until I hear everything is fine.
At least I'll be spending the day with my sister. We can try to calm each other down. She's coming along with me to the city for my doctor appointment. She's scared I'm going to go into labour if I head down alone.

Apparently she suffered a small heartattack that lead to a stroke. She has to have a battery of tests to discover the cause. It's just so scary. She just had a brain ultrasound done this morning and an MRI booked for later this week. She is still waiting for the dates and times of the tests for her heart.
She is sitting at home right now because she just hates hospitals and was freaking out so bad. She is on strict orders, on medicines and has to have someone with her at all times.

Yup... you see that?? Yup... that white stuff up there?

Yup... it's friggin' snow! We got our first snow yesterday afternoon.

The furnace is on and the jackets and warm weather gear have escaped the drawers and closets.

I am so not ready for this yet. It's August and we've had no summer at all this year. I can count on ONE hand the days we've had weather warmer than 25 degrees. NOT FUNNY! I hope we get some Indian Summer weather for the next 2 months!
